Massage Modalities

Our

Prenatal Massage

Indulge in the soothing relief of a prenatal massage treatment, designed specifically for the unique needs of expectant mothers. This nurturing therapy focuses on alleviating common discomforts associated with pregnancy, such as back pain, swelling, and tension. Our skilled therapists use specialized techniques and cushions to ensure your comfort and safety, promoting relaxation and well-being for both you and your baby. Enjoy a serene environment where you can unwind and connect with your changing body, enhancing your overall pregnancy experience. Prenatal massage is appropriate for all trimesters in a healthy pregnancy when cleared by a primary health care provider. However some pregnant people prefer to wait until 12 weeks of pregnancy to receive massage therapy.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy helps increase ciriculation, reduce myofascial adhesions, release tension, which helps to increase range of motion. Plastic and silicone cups are placed over areas of muscle and connective tissue restriction.

The therapist will either use the cup to glide over tissue to reduce tension and fascial adhesions, or leave the cup “parked” in a restricted spot for a few minutes. Generally cupping is not painfull, but there is a  pulling sensation with the cup creating suction through the muscle and connective tissues. Often cupping can leave a circular mark for up to a week past treatment, which is not painful or damaging to the patient in any way.
